2010 Greater Flint AIDS Walk

Saturday, October 2nd at the University Center on the campus of  the University of Michigan – Flint, the Annual Greater Flint AIDS Walk will be held with registration starting at noon and the walk beginning at 2pm.

The keynote speaker is Patrick Yankee from the Michigan Department of Community Health. The World Famous Stitches Doll Project will be featured as well as local artwork focusing on HIV awareness. Local author, Dangerous Lee, will also be available to sign copies of her book, Keep Your Panties Up and Your Skirt Down.

This years’ event promises to entertain with various education models focusing on the LGBTQ community and Youth and Sexuality. There will also be walk team prizes, raffles, and food.
